The manufacturer distinguishes the washable outer cover from the filling, which should not be washed. Follow the care label supplied with your exact pillow. Plan where you will dry the cover completely and how you will store any removed filling. “Washable” in a listing should never be taken to mean that every part can go into a washing machine.
